A Whispered Voice

My art notices details from everyday life that often slip by unnoticed, then brings them into art spaces where viewers can grant them a new kind of attention. By reframing found objects and collaged remnants in new environments, I reveal the histories they carry and create space for viewers to recognize their own experiences within the work, fostering connection, empathy, and community. Through deliberate shifts in context, scale, and presentation, I encourage reflection on the overlooked, the mundane, and the quiet beauty of daily life. Rather than explicitly telling stories, my work suggests narratives in a 3 dimensional, nonlinear way. Stories and memories do not exist as flat or singular forms; they emerge as collages, woven from past events, tangled with other recollections, shaped by multiple
perspectives, and colored by anticipation of the future. My work invites viewers to engage with the mystery of each image and ask,             

“What is it?” and “What’s its story?”
